ADVANCED SOAPMAKING WORKSHOP

*Basic soapmaking experience required or must have taken my Basic Soapmaking Class prior to attending this workshop

Cost: $40/student (Limited Private Classes are available $90)

Course fees must be paid at the time of registration. No participant is allowed to attend class without having paid the full course fee.

approx 1.5-2hrs instruction (lecture and practicum)

Class set – gloves, mask, goggles, spatula

Oils, lyewater, 1 basic color, 1 basic fragrance for soap (created soap will be taken home by student to cure and keep)

Any additional technique specific supplies needed will be provided, unless otherwise noted

An option to purchase additional supplies, used in class,will be provided to class participants.

Proper soaping attire (long sleeve top, long pants, close-toed shoes)

Immersion Blender/Stick Blender

If you fail to bring these items to class you will not be able to participate in the class and a refund will not be issued. We will strive to have extra supplies on hand for purchase, but to be on the safe side, please ensure you bring your own.

The instructor reserves the right to cancel any class where difficulties arise in scheduling or where a minimum enrollment is not achieved. A full refund will be issued for all cancelled classes.

Withdrawals may be made seven full business days prior to the starting date of the class (less a 15% withdrawal and processing fee). Refunds may take up to two weeks to process.Non-attendance for a class does not constitute a withdrawal and refunds are not issued for non-attendance.

Being that there is a risk involved with our classes, including using heat elements, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, a waiver will be provided for your signature prior to your involvement in the class that excludes the instructors from all liability from the improper use of the materials, equipment, and instruction provided. A comprehensive safety component will be provided in the class prior to use. All students must be 16 years or older on the date of the class to attend.
